for: gen x film buffs
This multimedia project portrays the films of Wim Wenders in a fictional festival event. The concept of the festival plays upon Wender’s use of travel and isolation in his films as a means of personal reflection and self-discovery.
Pieces for the project include print and environmental advertising, a collectable dvd set of the films intended to be shown at the festival, a collection of music from the film, postcards, water bottles, clothing items, tickets, day passes, and unique collectable book, all housed within a vintage projector case.
Additional deliverables for the proposal feature an art gallery designed to move from drive in to drive in, following the festival across the country.
